1.) When did you begin and how long have you been training in the Martial Arts?

 
About 24 years ago. I started in November of 1981, but I did have about a 2 year break for school and various other reasons.
 

2.) Why did you begin training in the Martial Arts?

 
Grand Master Moo H. Kim's West Side School (Brooklyn) opened about a mile from my home, and it looked like fun.
 

3.) What does Martial Arts mean to you?

 
It's an action philosophy that gives you guidelines to live by. It has made a profound impact in all aspects of my life.
 

4.) Under what Master(s) have you achieved your current Rank(s)?

 
Grand Master Moo Hwan Kim
 

5.) What specific Martial Arts have you trained in, and for how long?

 
Tae Kwon Do has been primarily the only one.
 

6.) What is your favorite Martial Art to train in and why?

 
I enjoy doing Tae Kwon Do, but also appreciate Judo & Hap Ki Do.
 

7.) What aspect of Martial Arts do you believe you excel in the most comfortably?

 
All of the above. Well, maybe not so well on the Etc.
 

8.) When did you begin and how long have you been instructing?

 
When I got my 2nd Degree I started to do the warm-ups and basics for Master Kim. Later when I got my 4th degree I was doing most, if not all of the class. About 12 years.
 

9.) Why did you begin instructing, and why do you continue?

 
It started out as a requirement of being a Black Belt, but has turned into something I enjoy.
 

10.) What is your favorite Tae Kwon Do Technique and why?

 
I know this is not what most people would think of, but Kyung Yet, to bow. When you bow that shows you are humble, respectful, and appreciative. That is more powerful than any kick or punch.
